Southern Upland Way

Passing through a varied landscape of pastoral valleys, forests and rugged uplands, in an area steeped in Scottish history and tradition, the way offers a unique experience for walkers. Although there are some long and demanding stretches through remote hill country, there are numerous shorter sections, linking attractive rural towns and villages, which are suitable for a day leisure walk.
